Candidate Synopsis
Our recruitment department focuses on looking into your preferences and strengths to find your perfect position. Working side by side with an experienced account management department, we search our job databases, as well as pinpointing new desirable locations, all based on your needs. With 24-hour access to your recruiter, you have a partner and consultant to work through any arising issues step by step throughout the hiring process. Candidate Process
Our process sets us apart form other agencies, simply because most “recruiters” have to work both sides of a placement, essentially splitting their focus between assisting the client with what they need and the candidate with what they want. We have a philosophy that if you are representing both sides, you actually represent your own best interests. Rather than one recruiter working to fill positions and search for candidates, our recruiters handle all services related to the candidate, representing the interests of the candidate, and focusing solely on the candidate.
Working together
The recruiters work side by side with the account managers, whose job is to search out facilities and positions that fit candidate needs. It is important for the recruiters to acquire specifics regarding a candidate’s work history, skills, certifications, and preferences in pay, shift, location etc. in order to match them to existing positions, or to search specifically for a position for the candidate. When a position and a candidate are matched, the candidate information is forwarded to the account managers for review, and submittal to the client. Typically, a response is expected within the first business day or two, as far as intent to put together a telephone interview. At that point, the account manager will rescreen the candidate to ensure that their interest remains steadfast.
Interviewing
The recruiters work together with the candidates to set up interviews, as far as making sure that the best matches in availability are set aside for phone calls, making sure the candidate knows who will be calling, and when they will be calling, verifying the number, and providing information on the facility and position. The recruiters help to prep the candidates on what to expect, and what the facilities expect out of the interview. We make sure that everything, including compensation and the requirements of the job is acceptable to the candidate before moving forward in the hiring process. After the phone interview or interviews, it is usual that the recruiter will obtain references from the candidate in order to check them for our facilities. We then work towards an on-site interview. We not only find out availability between the client and the candidate, but we have resources for checking flights, hotels, rental cars, etc, and can book in advance to be reimbursed by the facility after the interview.
Offers
Once all of the interviews have passed, and an offer is made, the recruiter will work to make sure that all aspects of the compensation are right where the candidate had originally agreed, and will make sure that the facility is informed of candidate acceptance.
Relocating
We assist with making sure the candidate has a smooth transition in their move. Whether it involves hiring moving trucks, renting uhauls, searching for housing, working on flights, or assisting with the many other aspects involved with relocation, we research the best methods, discuss often with the candidate to keep them informed of all options that are put together, and help to set up all the necessary preparations. We will talk to the agents of all services to take the headache away from the candidate.
From start to finish, we are there as consultants, travel agents, researchers and assistant, making sure that the entire hiring process is as simple and flawless as possible for our candidates.
